However, this wouldn’t be the case if the T480 were equipped with one of its extended battery options. Furthermore, the ThinkPad T490 features only one accessible DIMM slot for memory expansion, whereas the T480 had two. Additionally, due to its slim design, the T490 cannot accommodate a 2.5-inch storage bay, leaving you with just one internal M.2 Type 2280 slot for solid-state storage.
