The overall design language is modern and minimalist, lacking any vibrant color accents seen in the renowned red TrackPoint of ThinkPad devices.
With its dark-gray case, the ThinkBook Plus exudes an inconspicuous aura, with only the chrome elements around the touchpad and display lid adding a touch of visual flair. However, the exterior of the display lid showcases the device’s unique and distinctive feature—the second display. It incorporates a combination of glass and metal in its construction, resulting in a design that is not particularly robust or sturdy. While pressing on the rear did not cause any ripples on the main display, we found the entire display lid to be easily twisted and warped, more so than other laptops with metal cases.
