It combined these powerful processors with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, creating a multimedia device suitable for gaming while maintaining a more understated “business type” design. However, Lenovo has quietly introduced a new ThinkBook laptop that serves as a replacement: the Lenovo ThinkBook 16p NX. The ThinkBook 16p NX features a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 (WQXGA/2.5K). In comparison to the ThinkBook 16p G2, the display offers a slightly lower brightness of 350 cd/m² but introduces a new 120 Hz refresh rate option.
The screen is housed in an entirely new chassis, featuring a redesigned drop-down hinge and revised port configuration; one of the USB C ports has been replaced with an HDMI port. The ThinkBook 16p NX comes with a 75 Wh battery, offering a slight improvement over the previous 71 Wh capacity. However, there is now only one M.2 SSD slot instead of two, and the LPDDR5 RAM is soldered onto the motherboard, limiting the maximum capacity to 16 GB. The most significant updates are found in the processors: the Ryzen 6000H series replaces the Ryzen 5000H, with the top-of-the-line option being the eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800H.
