It is available with up to 8 GB of RAM and offers a choice between a 128 GB eMMC storage or a 256 GB SSD. For the 14-inch display, two options are available: a TN panel or an IPS version with touchscreen functionality. Both display types feature a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Lenovo promotes Windows 10 Pro as the pre-installed operating system, although it may come in S mode by default. In return, the company promises a battery life of up to 10 hours thanks to the 57 Wh battery. Wireless connectivity options include WLAN-ac and Bluetooth 4.2.
The notebook provides two USB-C ports, a full-size USB 3.0 interface, an HDMI port for connecting external monitors or projectors, a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, and an audio combo connection for headphones. The Lenovo 14w weighs approximately 1.53 kilograms with all its hardware and has a height of around 18 millimeters. While it may not be as robust as Lenovo’s popular ThinkPad models, the 14w has undergone military-standard testing and features reinforced ports and hinges. It is designed to withstand drops of up to 75 centimeters and boasts a splash-proof keyboard with mechanically anchored keys for increased stability.
